This song is about the internal fight we have to go through to overcome our personals struggles. Such as self-doubt and related insecurities. Music can be interpreted in any way the listener feels of course, but that was where my mind was at during the making of the song.

Musically, and production wise, this is really a culmination of all my previous songs. The djembe, which I used on The Night Journey EP, is back and has a prominent role in this song. The choir and orchestra elements I began to experiment with on my last single, River, is featured more heavily here as well. And I finally got to unleash more of my metal roots with the bridge section that leads into the climax of the song.
